01Services and Scope
Your scope, deliverables, pricing, and timeline are listed on your invoice, quote, or proposal. Anything not listed there is not included. Work outside the listed scope is quoted and billed separately before it begins.
02Booking and Deposits
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to lock in your date and begin work.
- No date is held and no work begins until the deposit is received.
- The deposit reserves time that is turned away from other clients. That is why it is non-refundable.
03Remaining Balance
- Video production and event coverage: the remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot, before production begins.
- Branding, design, and all other services: the remaining balance is due upon completion, before final files are released.
- Monthly retainers: payment is due in full at least 7 days before each service month begins. No work is scheduled for an unpaid month.
- Final files are released only after payment is received in full.
04Payment Methods
Payment is accepted directly through the invoice, by Venmo (@shotxllew), or by Cash App ($llewciano).
05Late Payments
Balances not paid by the due date accrue interest at 1.5% per month, or the maximum allowed by law, whichever is less. Work and deliveries pause until the account is current. You are responsible for reasonable costs of collecting unpaid balances.
06Turnaround
- Standard turnaround is 3-7 business days from the shoot or from receipt of all required materials, unless your invoice states otherwise.
- Business days exclude weekends and recognized holidays.
- Expedited delivery is available for $125 when the schedule allows.
- Delays in feedback, materials, or payment on your side extend the timeline.
07Revisions
- Project work includes 1 revision round unless your package states more.
- Monthly retainers include 2 revision rounds per deliverable unless your scope states otherwise.
- Additional revision rounds are $150 each.
- A revision refines the approved direction. A new concept, new footage, or a change in direction is new work and is quoted separately.
- Revision requests must be submitted in one consolidated list.
If you are offered a revision and do not request one, the work is accepted as delivered. By accepting, you waive the right to dispute the charge, request a refund, or initiate a chargeback over dissatisfaction with the final deliverables.
08Client Responsibilities
- Provide all materials, logos, music, locations, access, and information needed for the project.
- Show up on time and ready on shoot day.
- Respond to questions and give feedback clearly and promptly.
- Obtain any permissions required for locations, venues, and people you bring on camera.
Delays caused by missing materials or communication are not the responsibility of Forgnex Studio.
09Raw Footage and Working Files
- Raw footage and project files are not included unless listed on your invoice.
- A Raw Footage Release is available for $300.
- Released raw files are licensed to you for your own use. They may not be resold, redistributed, or edited by third parties without written consent. Files are provided as-is.
- Forgnex Studio keeps copyright of all raw and working files.
10Ownership and Usage
- Final deliverables become yours for their intended use once paid in full. Until then, all work remains the property of Forgnex Studio.
- Forgnex Studio keeps the right to display and share all work for portfolio, marketing, and promotional use.
- A full copyright transfer is not included in any package. It is available only by separate written agreement and quote.
11Travel
Travel outside the local area is billed at $0.725 per mile, listed on your invoice before booking.
12Conduct and Termination
Forgnex Studio may end a project or agreement if a client breaks these terms, stops communicating, or behaves in an abusive or unsafe way. All payments made remain non-refundable in that case.
13Circumstances Outside Our Control
Forgnex Studio is not responsible for delays or failures caused by weather, illness, equipment or technical failure, internet or software outages, or other events beyond reasonable control. These are handled under the Cancellation Policy below.
14Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Forgnex Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost revenue or business opportunity. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
15Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
16Changes to These Terms
Forgnex Studio may update these terms. The version in place when you pay is the version that applies to your booking.
